Learning to share with the world

EncounterEquip is not for the spiritually elite, the super-special, or the particularly gifted. Once you have received the love of God, you have something to share with the world, and the Prayer Ministry Training Course is designed to equip you with the ministry tools and mindset to share what you’ve received, no matter who you are, where you live, or what your story is!

The Prayer Ministry Training Course varies in format; we offer our traditional 8-week course, virtual or in-person, but we also offer an in-person weekend intensive. Either way, you can join others on journey of exploring what it means to live as people of the Kingdom of God, and be equipped by observation, discussion, and live practice to lovingly and powerfully minister to those around you.

“And he began sending them out two by two, giving them authority…”

No superstars, no elite squad; we say that when it comes to loving well, there is no A-Team.  It’s just us.

  • Adam, New Hampshire

Going from Encounter to Kingdom felt natural. I wanted to share the healing I myself had experienced. The Kingdom Course gave me a new perspective of what living empowered by the Holy Spirit looks like and the authority we are given in Christ. It helped me see that we should not stick ourselves on the sidelines, but are able to participate in the work of Christ, bringing healing to us and those around us.”

  • Stella Tse, Connecticut

“I wasn’t sure what to expect from [Kingdom], but besides learning a lot about healing prayer, I was able to practice what was learned immediately after each session, experiencing the joy of the Presence of the Holy Spirit, and seeing the healing of brokenness and pain. Immediately after the training, I was able to join an Encounter Weekend as an apprentice…which gave me great confidence to pray for people myself”

  • Caleb, Virginia

“Encounter made me realize that God was always ready and always willing to redeem, and that I could partner with Him in that. Having experienced this at an encounter, I knew that I wanted to be available to help others meet God in the same way I had, and so, I went through Kingdom Course in order to learn to be present to what God wants to do in His people, and to have the tools necessary for that process.”
