Continuing your Encounter beyond the Weekend

Over the years, so many encounter participants have asked: what's next?

Before moving on to learn how to do works Jesus did (which we cover in Kingdom Class), we see so much value for you in continuing to mine the treasures out of the encounter you've just had in a personal, reflective, soul-forming way. What if you spent an intentional season learning how to be with the Father the way Jesus did?

This is a disciple: to be like Jesus in order to obey and to do the works of Jesus. So how do you first learn "to be" in order to hear and obey in the power of the Holy Spirit? Aftermath is our answer to this question, helping you press in to "a lifestyle of encounter" by adopting rhythms and tools that will deeply transform your interior life and ignite greater passion for Jesus.

Aftermath

What to expect in Aftermath

Aftermath is a 12-week post-encounter care and coaching small group of 4-8 people - designed to support, train, challenge, help set personal goals, and provide accountability to those goals - these are "closed" groups, meaning the same 4-8 people are with each other for the duration. Aftermath will activate and accelerate what God has already deposited in you and are led by seasoned prayer ministers. Aftermath groups begin following an encounter weekend and are characterized by:

  • High Commitment - participants are expected to attend every group meeting in order to create a safe space for those throwing themselves headlong into the mercy and grace of God in the aftermath. Participants pay $150 per month in order to invest in their continued growth.

  • High Challenge - participants will be led to live from their true identity in Christ, and getting there is hard because it requires that we confront hard truths and exercise the muscle of unwavering obedience to Jesus.

  • High Investment - you will receive a lot of personal investment in the form of coaching, prayer, and time by gaining regular access to your Aftermath group leader during the 12-weeks.

  • High Accountability - at the end of every group meeting, each participant is asked two Questions: What is God saying to me? and, What am I going to do about it?  At the next group meeting each participant is asked, Did you follow through on what you believed God was saying to you? How'd it go?

Next Step: Kingdom

Kingdom is an in-person, intensive course where ordinary people explore together what it means to live as citizens of the Kingdom of God and how to minister to others in prayer for anyone who needs it.
